KHULNA, Oct 1, 2025 (BSS) - Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Nasimul Ghani today said that people of all faiths in Bangladesh are celebrating their religious festivals peacefully, reflecting the nation's long tradition of communal harmony. He made the remarks while visiting several Durga Puja mandaps in Keshabpur upazila of Jashore district. "Durga Puja is the biggest festival of the Hindu community, but it has evolved into a celebration embraced by all in Bangladesh," he said while exchanging views with devotees.
