One killed in Srimangal road accident | District

MOULVIBAZAR, Oct 01, 2025 (BSS) - One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a private car and a Noah microbus on Matiganj Lawarkul Bridge in Srimangal upazila of the district early today. The deceased was identified as Abdul Gafur Sheikh, a resident of the Muslimbagh area of the upazila. The two other passengers of the private car - Md. Tanvir Hossain Johnny and Ajay Singh - sustained critical injuries and were referred to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
