DHAKA, Oct 1, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has alleged that political attempts are underway to disrupt the country's longstanding communal harmony. Speaking during an exchange of greetings with the Hindu community at the Paltan Community Center Puja Mandap, Rizvi said, "An effort is being made to politically divide the country's communal unity, which is extremely regrettable." He further alleged that those who cannot accept the fall of the fascist and illegitimate government led by Sheikh Hasina are instigating unrest, particularly in the hilly regions, during the sacred festival of Durga Puja.
