Tamim Iqbal withdraws from BCB election

Former captain Tamim Iqbal, a key contender in the upcoming Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) board of directors’ election, withdrew his candidacy on Wednesday. Seven to eight candidates, including Tamim, pulled out of the election, a close source of Tamim confirmed to Jago News. Voting for the BCB election is scheduled for October 6, and the last date to withdraw nominations is today, October 1. Alongside Tamim, heavyweight candidates such as Saeed Ibrahim Ahmed, Israfil Khosru, Syed Borhanul Islam, and Rafiqul Islam Babu also withdrew from the race for director positions.
