No signs of rape were found in the health examination of a teenage schoolgirl from the Marma community in Khagrachhari. The medical report indicated that all 10 indicators tested for signs of sexual assault were marked as “normal.” The examination was conducted by a medical team comprising gynecology specialists Dr. Joya Chakma, Dr. Mir Mosharraf Hossain, and Dr. Nahid Akter from Khagrachhari Modern Sadar Hospital.
