DHAKA, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today filed a case against former Amami League (AL) lawmaker Abdus Sobhan Golap and his wife Gulshan Ara.The case was filed under section 26 (2) of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2004 as they had failed to submit their asset details on time.Director General (DG) (Prevention) of the anti-graft body Md Akhter Hossain confirmed the matter in a press briefing held at the ACC Headquarters in the capital’s Segunbagicha area.ACC on April 15 served notices to Golap and his wife seeking information of their properties -- under section 26 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Commission Act, 2004 -- and gave 15 working days for submitting the asset details.The anti-graft watchdog...
