Over 2000 BGB personnel safeguarding Puja Mandaps in frontiers: DG | Others

SATKHIRA, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) – Director General (DG) of Border Guard Bangladesh Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui said here today over 2000 members of the force are now providing security to Puja Mandaps in all frontiers for peaceful celebrations of the sacred Durga Puja. “Appropriate measures have already been taken by the government and home ministry as Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindus is celebrated in peaceful and festive way,” he said.
