Media Award on Judicial Independence 2025 announced: Reports in three categories sought | Others

DHAKA, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) – National Institute of Mass-Communication (NIMCO), in association with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has invited submissions for the Media Award on Judicial Independence 2025 to promote quality journalism focusing on judicial independence and reform. According to an official notification issued by NIMCO today, the award will be given in three categories — Print and Online, Television and Radio and Best Young Reporter (under 30 years of age). Each winner will receive Tk 25,000 along with an acknowledgment letter or certificate, the release said.Reports published or broadcast between September 1, 2024 and October 30, 2025 will be eligible for submission.A journalist can submit up to two reports per category.
