Orientation workshop on Typhoid vaccination held in Jamalpur | District

JAMALPUR, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) - An orientation workshop on the Typhoid vaccination campaign was held this morning at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Jamalpur. Deputy Commissioner Hasina Begum attended the programme as the chief guest, while Superintendent of Police Syed Rafiqul Islam was present as the special guest. The workshop was arranged by the District Information Department, with Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Iftekhar Yunus in the chair. Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Azizul Haque said a total of 635,322 children aged 9 months to 15 years will receive the vaccine free of cost.
