The UN will convene a high-level conference in New York on Tuesday to explore ways out of the crisis affecting Myanmar’s forcibly displaced Rohingya Muslims and other ethnic minorities. Representatives from at least 75 countries and organisations, including heads of state and government, are set to participate in the conference, which will begin at 10am local time (8pm Bangladesh time), state news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangbad reports, citing Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, the chief advisor's deputy press secretary.
