Seeds, fertilizers distributed among 840 farmers in Gazipur | District

GAZIPUR, Sept 30, 2025 (BSS) - Seeds and chemical fertilizers were distributed among 840 small and marginal farmers in Kapasia upazila of the district under the government's agricultural incentive programme. The distribution was carried out by the Kapasia Upazila Agriculture Office to promote the cultivation and production of winter vegetables in both homesteads and fields during the Rabi season under the 2025-26 fiscal year. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and President of the Upazila Agricultural Rehabilitation Implementation Committee, Dr. Tamanna Tasneem, distributed the agricultural inputs among the farmers as the chief guest at a function held on Monday afternoon at the Upazila Parishad premises.
