12 accused jailed in Sadiqul murder case in Khulna | District

KHULNA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today sentenced 12 individuals to jail in connection with the murder of Gazi Sadiqul Islam, who was fatally attacked in Fultala upazila earlier this month. The accused had been absconding since the incident took place on September 15. Court sources said they were intercepted by members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) while on their way to surrender at the court. Their vehicle was stopped at the Dakbangla intersection in Khulna city, after which they were handed over to Fultala police and produced before the court.
