World Lung Day observed at Bangladesh Medical University | Others

DHAKA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - The World Lung Day 2025 was observed today at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) through various programs hosted by the BMU Chest Diseases Department in collaboration with the Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh. To mark the day, a colorful awareness rally was brought out at 8:30am from the Cabin Block of BMU, marching across the campus and concluding at the Super Specialised Hospital. Following the rally, a scientific seminar was held in the auditorium of the university's Super Specialised Hospital, chaired by Professor Dr. Shamim Ahmed, Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at BMU.
