CHANDPUR, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Coast Guard provided emergency medical assistance to a pregnant woman who fell ill with labour pains aboard a passenger launch in the Haimchar area early Monday. According to a press release issued today by Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq, the woman was en route to Dhaka from Patuakhali when she became seriously ill around 2:00am.
