A young man has died in police custody in Brahmanbaria’s Nabiganj Upazila, with his family alleging that he was illegally detained for five days and tortured. The incident occurred at the temporary police camp in Salimganj on Sunday evening, according to Brahmanbaria Police Superintendent Ehteshamul Haque. The victim’s elder brother later brought charges against four people, including Sub-Inspector Md Mahim Uddin, the chief of the camp, as well as 20 to 25 unidentified suspects.
