48th special BCS: Nomination of 21 candidates suspended, 2 cancelled

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has suspended the nominations of 21 candidates who successfully cleared the 48th special BCS, which was held to appoint over 3,000 doctors. The nominations of 19 candidates provisionally nominated for appointment to the assistant surgeon position and two candidates for the assistant dental surgeon post have been scrapped for “not having” the certificate from the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
