18 fishermen remain missing for 16 days in Bay of Bengal | Others

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 18 fishermen from Chattogram have been missing for 16 days in the Bay of Bengal. Selina Akhter, wife of the missing trawler owner Ali Akbar, has filed a general diary at the Sadarghat Naval Police Station in Chattogram seeking their rescue. She last spoke to her husband around 9:30 pm on September 13, where he mentioned that she had lost network connectivity after going far away in the dawn. Since then, all communication has been ceased, and their phones are switched off.
