Integrated efforts to protect regional food rights stressed | District

RAJSHAHI, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - Integrated efforts of all the government and non-government entities concerned can be the crucial means of protecting food rights in the country’s northwest region. Drought, underground water crisis, arable land reduction and various other existing problems in the agriculture sector are posing a serious threat to the food security and living and livelihood conditions of the marginalized population. The views were expressed by government officials, social watchdogs and development activists at a regional conference on food rights at Hotel Warisan in Rajshahi City today.
