Cabinet secretary for taking coordinated approach to prevent non-communicable disease | News

DHAKA, Sept 29, 2025 (BSS) - Cabinet Secretary Dr Sheikh Md Abdur Rashid today stressed on taking coordinated approach to prevent and manage of non-communicable disease for ensuring progress in health sector. “Taking coordinated approach is a must through a specific time-bound action plan as it is not possible for the ministry alone to face the challenges of prevention of non-communicable disease,” he said. He made the remarks while taking part a discussion on “Implementation of Joint Declaration on Prevention and Control of Communicable Disease” in the Cabinet Division as the chief guest.
