Education boards are targeting Oct 19 for the release of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exam results. The evaluation of answer scripts is ongoing, according to Prof SM Kamal Uddin Haider, exam controller of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee. By convention, the results of public exams are released within 60 days of their completion. The written portion of the HSC exams ended on Aug 19, which means the 60-day deadline falls on Oct 19. “The goal is to publish the results of the HSC and equivalent exams by the 19th of October.
