Indian medical student found dead in Dhaka’s Keraniganj

Police have recovered the body of an Indian student studying at Ad-din Momin Medical College in Dhaka’s South Keraniganj. Local police chief Syed Md Akhtar said the body was recovered from a nearby hostel on Sunday. “We received information at 4:15am and found the hanging body of 19-year-old Indian student Nida Khan,” he said. The officer added that the second-year student had sat for an exam on Saturday. “The college authorities told us that she was expelled after being caught cheating," he said.
