4 held with 58.9-kg ganja in Lalmonirhat, Rangpur | District

RANGPUR, Sept 28, 2025 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in three separate drives arrested four alleged drug dealers with 58.9 kg of ganja during the last 48 hours from different places of Rangpur and Lalmonirhat districts.An operational team of RAB-13’s Sadar Company searched a truck at village Madanpur under Aditmari Police Station of Lalmonirhat district, seized 28.8 kg of ganja along with the truck and arrested two persons from the spot, said a press release.The detainees were identified as Md Bakul Hossain, 33, of village Kashihat under Sadar Police Station of Sirajganj district and Sajib Ahmed Akand, 26, of the Sonargaon area under Muktagacha Police Station of Mymensingh district.In another operation, a Crime Prevention Specialised Company (CPSC) team of...
