ACC launches investigation on missing containers in Ctg port | Others

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 28, 2025 (BSS) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has been investigating the incident of disappearance of two containers with auctioned cloth of Taka 1.5 crore from the Chattogram port. In this regard, an ACC team conducted a raid at the port on Sunday, ACC Deputy Director, Chattogram Subel Ahmed revealed this to media. Owner of Shah Amanat Trading Salim Reza purchased approximately 27 tonnes of fabrics of Taka 85 lakh at a Chattogram Customs auction in early February.
