Kamal Majumder's son Shahed on 5-day police remand | Others

DHAKA, Sept 28, 2025(BSS) - A court here today granted five-day police remand for former state minister for industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder's son Md Shahed Ahmmed Majumder. Earlier on Saturday night, a team of police of the Counter Terrorism Unit, arrested Shahed from a house at Niketon area under Gulshan Than for his alleged involvement in financing the activities of suspended Awami League (AL). Police filed a case against him under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Shahed was produced before the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) by police with a petition for 10-day remand.
