Two brothers electrocuted in Lalmonirhat | District

LALMONIRHAT, Sept 28, 2025 (BSS) – Two brothers died and two others were injured after being electrocuted at Duhuli Bakalitari village of Chalbala union in Kaliganj upazila here on Sunday morning. The deceased were Nur Islam, 55, and his brother Delwar Hossain, 43, residents of the same area. Officer in-Charge of Kaliganj police station M Zakir Hossain confirmed the matter. According to locals, Nur Islam got electrocuted when he came in contact with an electric wire while trying to connect a power line to an irrigation pump near their home.
