Shafiqur vows justice, promises citizens won't need to take to streets | News

DHAKA, Sept 27, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman today said if Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, citizens will no longer need to take to the streets to claim their rights. "The people of this country want to live with dignity in an independent state. Yet, for more than half a century, we have been unable to create that environment. With the support of the people and Allah's help, we aim to change this situation," he said.
