CCC Mayor hands over cheques of grants for Puja mandaps  | District

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 27, 2025 (BSS) - Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain today distributed cheques of the grants allocated for all puja mandaps being set up throughout the city to celebrate Duga Puja, the biggest festival of country's Hindu community. Speaking at the cheque hand-over function at Public Library conference room in the city's Laldighi area, the Mayor expressed his commitment to build Chattogram a city of harmony. CCC provided Tk 5 lakhs to central Puja Mandap at J M Sen Hall premises, the central pavilion of Durga Puja here while Tk five thousands to 269 puja mandaps each, according to a CCC handout.
