Agriculture should be considered 'runway of develop': Secretary | Others

KHULNA, Sept 27, 2025(BSS) - Agriculture Secretary Dr Mohammad Emdadullah Mian today said the agriculture sector should be considered the "runway of development" to uplift the country. "We have to go forward with the agriculture sector by giving the highest priority to it," he said while addressing a regional workshop on 'Transforming Bangladesh Agriculture-Outlook-2050' here as the chief guest. Chaired by the Additional Secretary of the ministry Dr Md Mahmudur Rahman, Khulna Divisional Commissioner Md Firoz Sarkar joined the seminar as special guest.
