World Tourism Day observed in Rajshahi | Tourism

RAJSHAHI, Sept 27, 2025 (BSS) - The World Tourism Day was observed today with the call for taking effective and necessary steps aimed at promoting tourism in Rajshahi as the region is enriched with ancient archaeological sites and charming natural beauty. To mark the day, the district administration and Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation jointly brought out a rally on the collectorate building premises followed by a meeting at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) office. The United Nations World Tourism Organization, has declared "Tourism and Sustainable Transformation," as the main theme for World Tourism Day 2025, which aims to highlight the transformative potential of tourism and its capacity to serve as a force for positive change.
