Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has told the United Nations General Assembly that his country is on an “irreversible” path of reform after last year’s mass uprising, pledging to hold democratic elections in February and prevent any return to authoritarianism. “Our actions and commitments reflect the expectations of the people.
