Bangladesh reports 219 hospitalisations with dengue in a day, no fatalities

After several consecutive days of fatalities, no dengue-related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, while another 219 people have been hospitalised. This keeps the tally of deaths to 188 this year, while the total number of hospitalisations stands at 44,692. According to the health directorate’s bulletin on Friday, Chattogram division recorded the highest number of new cases with 74 admissions. Barishal reported 43 patients, Dhaka North City Corporation 40, Dhaka South City Corporation 39, and Mymensingh 23.
