Preparations for Durga Puja completed in Barishal | District

BARISHAL, Sept 26, 2025 (BSS) – All preparations for the Sharodiyo Durga Puja celebration have been completed here, with festivities set to begin on Mahasashti. The biggest festival of the Hindu community will begin a day later with Mahasashti. Barishal Metropolitan Police and other law enforcement agencies have taken strict security measures centering Durga Puja. Commander of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 Lieutenant Colonel Nistar Ahmed said that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure safety at every puja mandap.
