Body of missing child found inside septic tank in Shariatpur

The body of a missing child has been recovered from a septic tank in Shariatpur’s Sakhipur. Police retrieved the body on Friday morning from Sakhipur resident Mezbauddin Mollah’s septic tank, said Obaidul Haque, chief of Sakhipur Police Station. The dead, identified with a single name as 6-year-old Taiyeba, was the daughter of Titu Sardar from the same village. According to the family, Taiyeba went missing around 5pm on Wednesday. Despite extensive searches, she could not be found. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a pink T-shirt. She was a student of a local madrasa.
