Tight security in puja mandops in Bogura  | District

BAGURA, Sept 26, 2025 (BSS)- Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community will be held in 686 mondops here this year amid tight security. District police has arranged special security measures for 104 vulnerable puja mondops, said Bogura District Police Media Spokesperson Additional SP Atwar Rahman. He said a large number of police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and Ansar will be on duty while the army will remain in patrol. CCTV cameras will be installed in every mondop. In addition every Puja committee will have its own volunteer team round-the-clock to monitor the security measures in every mondop.
