Maritime ports asked to hoist LCS 3 | News Flash

DHAKA, Sept 26, 2026 (BSS) – Maritime ports of the country has been asked to hoist Local Cautionary Signal (LCS)- 3 as low-pressure over the Bay of Bengal has intensified and turned into a well-marked low. According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) the low might further be strengthen. In a special weather bulletin today the BMD said that the low developed in the northwest Bay of Bengal and the adjoining west central bay off the Odisha-Andhra coast of India has turned into a well-marked low was located in the northwest Bay of Bengal and the adjoining central bay around 6 am on Friday.
