CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 26, 2025 (BSS) - Election Commissioner Md Anwarul Islam Sarker today said that the demand for the Proportional Representation (PR) system and complications regarding a political party's symbol will not affect organizing the election. "The Election Commission (EC) is always prepared for the National Parliament Election," he said while speaking to reporters after inaugurating a workshop at Shaheed Satu Auditorium in the district. Anwarul Islam emphasized the constitutional role of the institution, saying that the EC operates strictly within legal boundaries.
