DUCSU polls: Ballot paper allegations ‘under investigation’

The Election Commission (EC) for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) polls says that it is investigating allegations that ballot papers were printed in the Nilkhet area under unsecure circumstances. Returning Officer Mohammad Jasim Uddin made the announcement in a press release issued on Thursday night. The statement said the commission “is monitoring [the allegations] and investigating with utmost seriousness” and the process is under way. The EC is treating all complaints and inquiries into the polls with the utmost importance.
