Three people, including a mother and child, have been killed as a truck and an autorickshaw crashed head-on in Sunamganj’s Shantiganj Upazila. The accident occurred at 7:15pm on the Sylhet-Sunamganj regional highway near Bagherkona village, according to Abdul Ahad, chief of Shantiganj Police Station. The dead have been identified as Keshba Priya, 40, her daughter Prathama Das, and Sajal Ghosh, 50. Keshba lived in the Ukilpara area of Sunamganj Municipal Town, while Sajal hailed from Brahmanbaria’s Nabinagar. Keshba and her family hail from Habiganj’s Baniachang Upazila. Prathama was a student in seventh grade at the Satish Chandra Girls High School in Sunamganj.
