Week-long joint forces drive nets 44 crime suspects: ISPR | Others

DHAKA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) - The defence ministry's inter service public relations directorate (ISPR) today said military-led joint forces in a weeklong nationwide drive arrested 44 crime suspects like identified terrorists, snatchers ‍and drug peddlers. "Units under several infantry divisions and independent brigades of Bangladesh Army carried a few joint operations in different parts of the country including the capital in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies from September 18, 2025 to September 25, 2025," the ISPR said in a statement. It said the operations yielded arrest of 44 crime suspects like identified terrorists or gangsters extortionists, and people illegally possessing weapons.
