More than Tk 100 cannot be collected from each house as waste collection charge: DSCC administrator | Others

DHAKA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) - Waste contractors will not be able to collect charges or bills of more than Tk 100 from each house, said Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Md. Shahjahan Mia. “Strict action will be taken if this is violated,” he said in an exclusive interview with Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) at his office at LGRD and Cooperatives Ministry at the Secretariat today. The DSCC administrator said the city corporation is always engaged in providing services to the citizens.
