DHAKA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) - Civil Aviation and Tourism Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin today said that the opening date of the much-anticipated third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) is yet to be confirmed, as the government awaits the completion of an operator agreement. "An agreement needs to be signed with an operator to manage the third terminal, and the operator will need a few months for preparations after that," he told reporters at a press conference organized by the ministry at the Secretariat this afternoon on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
