Schoolboy drowns in Fatikchhari | News

CHATTOGRAM (North), Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) - A schoolboy drowned while taking a bath in a pond at Fatikchhari upazila of the district this afternoon. The deceased was Md. Nahidul Islam, 15, son of Kamal Uddin of Notun Bazar area under Bagan Bazar union of the upazila and a student of class X at Bagan Bazar High School. Nahid went to the pond near the school for taking bath with his classmates after school around 4 pm. After bathing, the others got up, but he could not get up and his friends tried to rescue him but failed. Later, the fire service and locals recovered Nahid's body....
