PR system to help emergence of fascist govt: Salahuddin | Others

DHAKA, Sept 25, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed today said election held under the PR (Proportional Representation) system could lead to the formation of another fascist or weak government, similar to the one led by Sheikh Hasina. He said, "If elections are held under the PR system, another fascist or weak government like Sheikh Hasina's may be formed. Such a situation would make the country permanently unstable."
