244 more AL men held with 14 crude bombs in city

Police have arrested 244 more leaders and activists of Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organizations along with 14 crude bombs from different places of the capital city.The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) apprehended them on the basis of intelligence information that they were gathering in different areas in the capital and trying to disrupt law and order by organizing surprise processions.Fifty of them were arrested by DB, 27 by CTTC, 100 by Tejgaon Division police, 55 by Ramna Division, 5 by Gulshan Division, 4 people by Mirpur Division and 3 people by Uttara Division.With the help of the local people, 14 cocktails and seven banners were also seized during their arrests.DMP Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) SN Md.
