RU officers' association suspends shutdown

The Officers' Association of Rajshahi University (RU) has postponed its "complete shutdown" for seven working days after issuing an ultimatum to the administration. On the other hand, while the pro-BNP Nationalist Teachers' Forum has vowed to continue boycotting academic activities. At 1:00pm on Wednesday, association president Moktar Hossain announced the suspension of the strike. "University administrators sat with us yesterday and sought time to address our demands.
