NCP renews plea for ‘Shapla’ electoral symbol

The National Citizen Party (NCP), which is under the registration process, has again applied to the Election Commission (EC) for the “Shapla” or water lily electoral symbol. On Tuesday, the commission had informed the party that the symbol was not on the official list, and that NCP would have to choose an alternative.
