DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) – The Directorate of Primary Education has announced the suspension of offline transfer and attachment activities for primary teachers. The directive was issued in a letter signed by Mahfuza Khatun, Assistant Director (Policy and Operations) of the Directorate, on Tuesday. The letter noted that many individuals, including respected officials at different levels, often make transfer recommendations for teachers either over the phone or in person. It also pointed out that teachers frequently visit the Directorate of Primary Education in Dhaka to submit transfer requests directly to the Director General, often without prior approval from the relevant authorities.
