Bangladesh has recorded five more deaths from dengue fever over the past 24 hours, while another 668 people have been hospitalised. The latest fatalities bring tally of deaths to 187 this year, while the total number of hospitalisations stands at 43,841. According to the health directorate’s bulletin on Wednesday, two of the five deaths occurred at Mugda Medical College and Hospital, while one fatality each was reported at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Kurmitola General Hospital, and the Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute. The victims included two aged 60, alongside others aged 50, 55 and 12. Three were female, two male.
