Trading thru Burimari Land Port to remain shut for 8 days | District

LALMONIRHAT, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) - Export and import activities through Burimari Land Port in the district will remain suspended for eight consecutive days-from September 27 to October 4-on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja, the largest religious festival of the Hindu community. However, passenger movement through the port with valid passports will continue as usual during this period, said a letter signed by A.S.M. Niaz Nahid, General Secretary of Burimari Customs Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) Agents Association this morning.
