Another firefighter succumbs to burns from Tongi chemical warehouse blaze

A second firefighter has died from severe burn injuries suffered in a blaze at a chemical warehouse in Gazipur’s Tongi. Mohammad Nurul Huda, 38, who was assigned to the Tongi Fire Service, passed away around 2:40pm on Wednesday during treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
